Title Bilingual Associate Claims Examiner (English/French) Overview of Position What we do: We offer shipping insurance coverage (inland marine) for packages shipped via UPS, FedEx, the USPS and most major shipping carriers. Our rates are at a discount to the carrier rates, and the claims process is completely online and processed quickly. We are a small, casual inside sales agency without walk-in traffic. What we need: We need someone who is VERY ORGANIZED and has experience dealing with customers via telephone & email. You must be able to manage emails, faxes, and inbound mail and keep it all organized and accounted for. This position requires someone who is a self-starter and does not need to be micro-managed. You will be dealing directly with customers regarding their shipping insurance claims and managing the entire process from filing to completion. In addition to claims processing this position will support general customer inquiries. This position relies on being organized and being in contact with customers. What makes us different? Process and manage large amount of incoming and current claims. Communicate with customers regarding open claims. Discuss claims & file claims with the shipping companies, such as UPS & FedEx. Answer claims inquiries via email, live chat, and telephone. Answer customer support questions. Scanning documents. What are the requirements needed for this position? High School Diploma Customer service experience and ability to manage escalated calls. Ability to articulate using email and phone with excellent communication. Ability to multi-task and stay organized. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be bilingual in English and French Proficient using the Internet for research. Email communication proficiency. Superb attendance record. What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? Previous claims experience and license preferred. QuickBooks experience a plus.
