Role

Overview The Senior Director, Enterprise Portfolio Management is responsible for establishing and leading the organization's enterprise portfolio management function, ensuring strategic initiatives are aligned with corporate objectives and deliver measurable business value. This executive leader provides governance, oversight, and direction for enterprise portfolios, driving standardized portfolio management practices, financial stewardship, resource optimization, risk management, and executive decision-making. The Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technology leaders, finance, and project delivery teams to prioritize investments, optimize portfolio performance, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives. This role fosters a culture of transparency, accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven portfolio management across the enterprise.

Duties & Responsibilities

Enterprise Portfolio Management Strategy Develop and execute the enterprise portfolio management strategy aligned with organizational goals and long-term business priorities Establish portfolio management capabilities, standards, and operating models that enable effective prioritization and execution of strategic investments Drive enterprise-wide portfolio maturity through continuous process improvement and adoption of best practices Partner with executive leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives and investment opportunities Portfolio Governance and Methodology Design, implement, and maintain enterprise portfolio governance frameworks, policies, standards, and decision-making processes Chair or facilitate portfolio governance forums, steering committees, and executive review boards Ensure consistent application of portfolio management methodologies across business and technology portfolios Develop portfolio intake, prioritization, approval, and lifecycle management processes Monitor compliance with governance standards and organizational policies Portfolio Financial and Resource Management Oversee enterprise portfolio budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and financial performance Partner with Finance to manage capital and operating investment portfolios Build enterprise resource planning methodology, tools and standards Provide resource plans to inform portfolio prioritization and planning discussions with executive stakeholders Optimize allocation of resources, talent, and organizational capacity across portfolio and strategic initiatives Monitor
