About this role

We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support several Directors in the Data & Analytics go-to-market (GTM) organization, part of the AWS Specialists & Partners (ASP) organization. The Data & AI GTM organization is a strategically critical business spanning databases, analytics, and AI/ML solutions. The organization develops and executes the GTM strategy through sellers and partners, covering both managed and self-managed services as well as technology and consulting partnerships. It operates at the intersection of technical and commercial domains — supporting a highly technical workforce in a sales context — across a global footprint. As a Senior HRBP, you will partner directly with senior leaders in this organization on talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning, in a market where GenAI talent is scarce and highly contested. To drive these priorities effectively, this individual must have the ability to learn complex, diverse businesses in depth, understand nuanced differences between roles, influence with data, drive people initiatives that lead to business impact, and coach senior leaders to maximize their leadership effectiveness. Prior experience partnering with Technical sakes teams is a plus, but not essential for the candidate who is excited to dive in and learn. In this role, the individual will also be part of the ASP PXT team and will drive multiple key talent priorities across the broader ASP organization. Key job responsibilities - Coaches and consults on organizational design and management issues, as well as challenging and/or influencing decision-making processes - Develops and executes a life-cycle approach to HR programs such as performance management, compensation cycles, and talent management by assessing organizational performance, defining talent gaps and proposing solutions in support of business objectives - Implements employee engagement strategies to foster an environment based on respect and values - Streamlines and implements new processes to create speed, efficiency and agility within the organization - Lead change management efforts around culture and process evolution - Develop thoughtful, integrated approaches to promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development and retention - Facilitates the consistent application, implementation and improvement of Human Resources programs - Partners with the HRP team and business leaders to manage day-to-day employee relations issues, in line with local legislation - Collaborates with leaders to execute recruitment, on boarding and training initiatives and internal mobility
