Intel's Global Construction Engineering (GCE) organization is responsible for the design and engineering of Intel's major manufacturing and cleanroom facilities worldwide. Within GCE, the Tool Install Central Engineering group is a highly technical organization responsible for the design and execution of all semiconductor fabrication tool installations across Intel's global network. We complete thousands of tool install designs annually, leveraging standardization, continuous improvement, and robust metrics to ensure system health and operational excellence. Our Design Managers are highly valued leaders who guide the tool install design program for our construction projects. You will manage external Architect and Engineering (AE) firms to execute the design and engineering for our tool install construction ramps.

You will have the opportunity to support design programs at many of Intel's manufacturing sites (Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Israel, Malaysia and Ireland) and proliferate systems and processes across the global network.

This is a hybrid role located at our Kiryat Gat, Israel campus. ________________________________________ Role Responsibilities As a Design Manager you will serve as the subject matter expert for tool install engineering and lead our design program. Program Leadership • Own end to end execution of the tool install design program. • Manage external AE supplier teams in the execution of tool install construction design deliverables. • Drive schedule performance to meet tool install ramp needs. • Provide AE cost forecast and manage PO and Invoice approvals and change control. • Oversee processes, standards, and execution quality. • Support construction teams during execution phase. Technical Expertise • Deep understanding of facility systems and manufacturing equipment requirements. • Expertise with local building code and design practices. • Intimate knowledge of design processes and standards. • Technical engineering problem solving to resolve design constraints. • Working knowledge of multi-discipline engineering and coordination. Operational and Partner Management • Own workload planning and coordinate with AE firms to optimize efficiency, predictability, and alignment with customer
