➡️ Mission Join us as Team Lead AML Italy and play a key role in leading the day-to-day operations of our growing AML team in Milan. You'll lead a team of 10 specialists, supported by our BPO partners, balancing operational excellence with continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with Alessandro, our new Head of AML, you'll help shape the team's next chapter by strengthening performance, developing your team, and building on the positive momentum already underway. ➡️ What you'll do Own the daily run: oversee task assignment and alert monitoring every morning. Drive control quality: analyze control results, get to the root of KO reasons, and assign remediation across first and second line topics. Sharpen our transaction monitoring: review scenarios, assess what's working, and propose improvements. Grow the team: support junior agents, empower senior agents, and help everyone build confidence. Be the go-to for stakeholders: run regular catch-ups with AFC, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Onboarding, CS, and our BPO managers near Milan. ➡️ What we're looking for Proven AML expertise in Italy: At least 4 years of experience, ideally in first line of defense and transaction monitoring. You know the Italian AML framework inside out. Prior management expertise needed: Ideally a team of minimum 3 agents. A tech-first mindset: comfortable with automation, data, and AI tools, not just traditional banking processes. Resilience under pressure: you know how to prioritize a high volume of requests and stay structured facing audits or regulatory scrutiny. A supportive leadership style: you listen, build trust, and know how to stabilize a team before pushing for change. Fluent Italian and English: native Italian speaker, comfortable working in English on a day to day basis. ➡️ What we can offer you A great moment to join: make an impact by supporting a team as it builds momentum, strengthens confidence, and grows together. Close support from your manager: Alessandro will be based in Milan and closely involved during your first months. Real regulatory exposure: direct work on Bank of Italy-related topics, audits, and high-stakes stakeholder conversations. Room to shape the role: task automation is underway, you'll help define how the team works, not just execute it. ➡️ Your future manager You'll report to Alessandro Scandolara, our new Head of AML. Since joining in January 2025, Alessandro has been leading the Italy AML team firsthand, giving him a deep understanding of the team's strengths, opportunities, and day-to-day challenges. Based in Milan, he'll be closely involved throughout your onboarding, offering hands-on support as you settle in. His leadership style is grounded in building trust,
