Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.   Raytheon is seeking a strong candidate to join the Engineered Items procurement acquisition team as a Procurement Principal Specialist.  This position will manage medium and high complexity Engineered Items procurements.  The procurement professional will operate as the focal point interface to handle Raytheon Programs and suppliers. This role can be filled in a variety of Raytheon hub locations and is Hybrid.

Lead Supplier interaction and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to manage a variety of procurements including but not limited to build-to-print, performance specifications, Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), with medium/high complexity. Select qualified suppliers and seek alternate suppliers (when applicable). Develop and Manage RFI and RFQs. Prepare POs and PO documentation in accordance with company directives, prime contract flow downs and company work instructions. Post-award management of POs to be handled in accordance with company directives and work instructions. Manage Suppliers to meet Program requirements with the desired quality and delivery. Prepare and execute various types of agreements, such as: PIAs, Long Term Agreements, Bailment, etc. Minimal travel. The position is a Hybrid position and may require access to local Raytheon facilities.

You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
