Analyst, Energy Management - Forecasting Services

The Analyst, Energy Management - Forecasting Services, conducts analytical studies that support electric system planning and operations, including customer load data analysis, evaluation of renewable energy impacts on the power grid, and special projects that address emerging business needs. The role also submits daily meter values to the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) in support of Con Edisons Metering Authority responsibilities, using meter software to track inventory and load data, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with teams across Con Edison. In collaboration with the Forecasting Services team, the Analyst develops regression analysis methods to improve weather-adjusted peak forecasts, helping guide long-term infrastructure planning and investment decisions. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
