Senior Mechanical Engineer

Chassis frame and components layout development, including mounting systems, brackets, and interfaces. Preparation of 3D CAD design and create detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T, BOM creation for vehicle frame. Layout and packaging of components such as AdBlue, fuel tank, battery, air tanks. Perform calculations related to clearances, envelopes and mass properties. Work on large assemblies, including effective use of simplified representations. Collaborate with cross ‑ functional teams locally and globally to ensure design alignment and manufacturability.

Execution on CAD – sheetmetal, advance modeling and assembly, drawing. Understand design requirements, clearance check, drawing standards, GD&T, and Bill of Material (BOM). Experience in frame & its components. Collaborate with team members by offering assistance.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Production Engineering

Minimum 5 years of hands ‑ on experience in Mechanical engineering. Strong proficiency in NX and Teamcenter. Strong understanding of chassis systems and interfaces. Strong understanding of sheet ‑ metal design and manufacturing processes. Ability to manage and design large assemblies efficiently. Excellent understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack ‑ up, and engineering drawing practices. Experience in tool clearance, reliability, and ergonomic assessments. Ability to collaborate with both local and global engineering teams

Familiar with truck systems and components Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and assembly techniques. Familiar with validation, test procedures and issue resolution ECR/ECN release system will be an added advantage Standards (Euro Norms)
