Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist responsible for precision machining and quality assurance. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC equipment, interpret complex blueprints, and ensure parts meet exact specifications. You will also perform inspections, document quality data, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and maintain high standards of accuracy and safety. Job Requirements

Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, vertical mills and other equipment for machining parts to exact specifications. Interpret and work from complex blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine dimensions and tolerances. Perform machining operations such as threading, precision boring, facing, turning, grooving and contouring. Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using a wide range of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges and vision systems Perform routine machine maintenance. Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical or quality issues. What your background should look like

High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training, trade school certification, or apprenticeship preferred. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a job shop or production environment. Knowledge of machining processes, tooling selection and shop mathematics. Identifying G&M codes, CNC program cycles and feed and speed identification. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T. Ability to use precision measuring tools; CMM or vision system a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Attention to fine detail and small features. Experience with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals; experience with plastics is a plus. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Competencies
