The core mission of gUP Gemini App Partner Engineers is to ensure partners can successfully adopt and deploy connected apps using the Gemini App. This involves deeply understanding the partner's technical and business goals and providing guidance to help them integrate with the Gemini App. We are in a nascent and fast-changing space that is both exciting and ambiguous. In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more). Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Drive new partner integrations within Gemini App, ensuring a frictionless partner experience and grow user value. Contribute to the evolution of Gemini through LLM-based solutions/processes (e.g., tools/colabs) for partner schema ingestion, data preparation and quality iterations (prompt engineering, running evals, loss bucket analysis, SFT data points). Influence product strategy and work with cross-functional teams to bring partner-facing features to market. Advocate for seamless partner and user experience and advocate for user and partner success with engineering and product teams. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and latest machine learning research, tools and techniques.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python). 3 years of experience in web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP). Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers. Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience with software development and familiarity with architectural components and system design. Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering. Experience with building solutions on AI platforms such as Agent Development Kit (ADK). Experience in developing using AI editors such as Antigravity, and building "skills" and "AI agents" around them. Experience working with AI protocols such as MCP, UCP.
