As a Senior Cloud Operations Architect (or TAM) in the AWS Enterprise Support, Enterprise segment team, you will have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. TAMs actively engage at the account level, providing recommendations and proactive advice throughout the entire cloud adoption life cycle. The Senior Cloud Operations Architect is the customer's trusted advisor and operational excellence expert for our Enterprise Support customers. The close relationships developed with your customers across all levels of their business will allow you to understand their business and operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from cloud technologies. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers' AWS environments operationally healthy. As a Senior Cloud Operations Architect, you'll craft and execute strategies with senior customer stakeholders up to C-level to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services. This support extends to addressing strategy-related queries, aiding in project and launch planning, and resolving operational challenges. You will work with large customer engineering organizations and advise management on complex cloud architecture decisions. This is a post-sales advisory role within our Enterprise Support team, where you can further develop your technical, leadership, and consulting skills while working with organizations facing sophisticated operational challenges across the Nordics region. You'll leverage best practices, including the AWS Well-Architected Framework, AWS Trusted Advisor, and operational reviews to help customers maximize the value they derive from AWS. The AWS Enterprise Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Enterprise Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector and other regulated industries. Key job responsibilities - Provide customers with deep technical expertise across multiple technology domains to achieve operational excellence in security, resilience, and efficiency. - Act as the customer's trusted advisor, developing strategies with senior stakeholders up to C-level to drive AWS adoption and operational maturity. - Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Account Managers, Customer Solutions Managers, and other internal teams to ideate around your customers' most challenging business problems. - Own end-to-end customer technical support, working with internal and external engineering teams to design long-term operational strategies. - Lead architectural reviews and workshops to advance your customers' technical objectives and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. - Proactively identify and mitigate risks, driving efficiencies and simplification in customer operations plans and product adoption. - Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc. - Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, monthly & quarterly metrics, and detailed pre-launch planning. - Mentor and develop other TAMs, actively participate in
