Job Overview

Implements the procurement of various components to support production while negotiating with suppliers on cost efficiency and time of delivery. Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Support the procurement of raw materials, equipment, consumables, and services according to purchasing procedures. Assist in maintaining and following up on open purchase orders. Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure material availability. Support communication and follow-up with suppliers regarding deliveries, confirmations, and documentation. Collaborate with Quality and Planning teams regarding material specifications and requirements. Assist in preparing basic reports such as materials at risk, order status, and inventory reports. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to lead time reduction and inventory optimization. Assist with material transfers between plants when required. Perform other related duties as assigned. What your background should look like

Experience

3 to 4 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory (internships or co-op experience accepted). Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field (completed or in progress). Basic knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes. Basic experience or familiarity with MRP / ERP systems (preferred). Basic to intermediate English skills (reading and writing; conversational skills are a plus). Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic analytical and data-follow-up skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Willingness to learn and develop within the procurement function. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Competencies
