Shipping Technician (Forklift Operator) Preferred working locations: Eatontown, NJ Onsite requirement *This position does not qualify for international relocation. All candidates must be authorized to work in US and not require sponsorship. What’s new with Aptar We have an exciting position open for a Shipping Technician in Eatontown, NJ . This role is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items. This is how your journey begins:
You will load, unload, ship, and receive. You will transport materials to different locations within the facility. You will optimize load to ensure operational efficiency. You will secure loads before transportation. You will Inspect for damages to vehicles. You will operate and manage technical equipment. You will manage inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment. You will pick and wrap orders for shipment. You will Identify workplace safety hazards. You will adhere to safety management standards. You will adhere to production schedules.
What you will bring on the journey
Education
High School Diploma or GED Valid Forklift Certificate
Experience
Knowledge of all types of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack)
Skills
Excellent hand-eye coordination Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners Mathematical aptitude Good organizational skills Attention to detail Good written and verbal communication in English
Travel: No travel required for this role.
