Sr Software Development Engineer

In this temporary two-years role, you will play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge software capabilities for Intel Server products, ensuring high-quality launches and in-Fleet product experiences. The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: Develop and maintain diagnostic and analysis tools to debug and optimize Intel Servers' performance. Define and drive critical software validation tasks across platforms. Collaborate with internal and external teams to replicate and debug issues, providing impact assessments and solutions. Minimum Qualifications : Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Bachelor's degree, Masters’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronics or related STEM field. 6+ years of experience of experience in any of the following: Software development experience. C/C++ programming and debugging, including object-oriented design, multithreaded programming techniques Software Validation and CI/CD methods Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written). Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 4+ years of experience in: Low level firmware coding and debugging Intel Xeon architecture, including Un-Core and platform. Xeon performance monitoring tools and hardware hooks. Familiarity with customer validation and debug use models.
