Role

Applied Materials is growing at a pace that is driving significant increases in headcount and facilities. As a result, we expect over the next five years to have the most exciting and active R&D and manufacturing infrastructure pipeline in our history. The Global Workplace and Infrastructure (GWI) team is responsible for all facilities, from acquisition through operation to disposition, with a global capital budget of over $1.5B+ and operating budget of $500M+. As a member of the GWI North America Projects, Real Estate & Space Planning team, you will play an important role in delivering the capital and tenant improvement projects that make this growth possible. The Project Manager, GWI Projects – NAM is responsible for delivering hi-tech equipment installation and tenant improvement construction projects across the NAM portfolio, including complex cleanroom and semiconductor manufacturing environments, using the project delivery and execution strategy best suited to each project. You will manage project scope, schedule, and budget through all phases of design, contracting, and construction, and will be knowledgeable of construction processes, startup, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of systems and buildings. You will be accountable for a proven track record in managing a safety culture, using leading indicators and methods that promote a safe working environment, including incident investigation and corrective actions.
