Your New Role... As a Media Manager, you will coordinate the delivery of programming for transmission to the Playout facility , ensuring media content is processed accurately , efficiently and on schedule . Working across multiple production support functions , you will play a key role in maintaining smooth broadcast operations and content availability . Your Role
Accountabilities... Prioritise content delivery across Production, Ingest , Edit, VOD and Playout teams to support operational deadlines. Ensure ingest requirements are accurate and that all required content is successfully captured . Maintain the accuracy of naming conventions, metadata and metadata application across content workflows. Coordinate effectively with MCR, Engineering, Production, Edit, Bookings , Ingest and Archive teams to support content operations . Manage incoming content issues, including escalation , reporting and resolution where required . Oversee archive content restores and manage the day -to- day file delivery schedule , identifying potential delays and risks . Perform quality control checks for Playout delivery , monitor MAM system performance, support hardware tracking for productions and act as a key contact for system engineering issues . Qualifications & Experience... Working knowledge of broadcast equipment, file formats and transcoding processes. Excellent understanding and demonstrable expertise in the use of EVS IPD MAM systems. Knowledge and experience of cloud-based broadcast technologies Understanding of file formats, audio track layouts, metadata requirements and their application within production environments.
