Alabama Licensed Therapist MA/MSW MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions. The Licensed Therapist provides social services and individual, family and group therapy and case management services on acute and residential units under direction of the Director of Social Services. Assigned cases may vary somewhat depending on experience and specialty areas. Current license as an ALC or LPC in the State of Alabama is required. Ability to establish rapport with a multiple disciplinary team and assist patient to work toward recovery and to sustain health. Experience and credentials for areas served and specialized interventions (adventure-based counseling, play therapy, or sexual offender/victim) highly desired.
