This position will perform forecasting, scheduling, material planning, and tracking real-time performance in order to support growing business. Position can be located at our facility in Mossville, IL or Irving, TX   What You Will Do: Conducting forecasting to drive decision-making. Liaising with operational management teams on all matters related to resource planning. Producing effective resource scheduling to maximize performance and meet KPIs/SLA. Maintaining inventory levels and coordinating material movement to support production plan Analyzing business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities.   What You Will Have Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. •     Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights. •     Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs. •     Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy. •     Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned. •     Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free. Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service. •     Documents major considerations of product promotions and analyzes their effect on production and required capacity. •     Provides management reports on actual and projected capacity requirements. •     Uses available tools to interpret forecasts and work out required capacity. •     Participates in developing short-term capacity requirements for a specific product or plant. •     Collects and collates key elements of demand chain used in developing capacity requirements.
