Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Field Engineer – Fire, Life, Safety to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire and life safety systems across various commercial and industrial facilities. You will ensure all systems comply with local and international safety standards while providing exceptional technical support to our clients. This position requires a proactive professional who can work independently in the field while maintaining meticulous attention to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems Perform routine maintenance and calibration of life safety equipment, including emergency lighting and exit signage systems Diagnose technical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal system performance Document all inspection findings, maintenance activities, and test results in detailed reports Ensure all work complies with applicable Saudi Arabian safety regulations and international fire safety standards Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner Schedule and coordinate field visits to meet client requirements and project timelines Maintain accurate records of equipment service history and compliance documentation Troubleshoot system malfunctions and provide technical guidance to clients Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices in fire and life safety Collaborate with internal teams to support project delivery and customer satisfaction Qualifications Proven 10 years of experience in fire safety systems inspection, testing, and maintenance Strong knowledge of life safety systems and emergency response equipment Familiarity with fire safety codes, building standards, and regulatory compliance requirements Technical proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting fire and life safety equipment Excellent documentation and report writing skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in field-based environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions Knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety regulations and standards (preferred) Fire alarm system certification or equivalent qualification (preferred) Life safety system certification or equivalent qualification (preferred) Multilingual capabilities in Arabic and English (preferred) Experience with project management and scheduling (preferred) Additional Information At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
