Job Description

We are looking for a Premium Services Engineer (PSE) who thrives in a fast‑paced, technically challenging environment and embodies our core values of being Hungry, Honest, and Humble. As an HPE Networking PSE , you will join the EMEA regional organization and deliver technical support for HPE Networking Premium customers and support partners, with a primary focus on HPE Aruba WLAN .

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot/Diagnose customer issues and drive satisfactory resolution. Supports enterprise HPE Aruba WLAN solutions, including HPE Access Points, Mobility Gateways, HPE Aruba Central, Clearpass, Airwave and related management and analytics platforms. Performs wireless troubleshooting, including RF analysis, client connectivity, roaming behavior, and performance optimization under guidance for complex scenarios. Assists with RF design activities, site surveys, and capacity planning to ensure optimal wireless coverage and performance. Collaborates with internal engineering, product, services, and support teams to resolve customer issues and improve solution quality. Participates in customer-impacting incidents and escalations with support from senior engineers. Learns and applies emerging wireless technologies (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, security enhancements, and AI-driven operations). Provides knowledge sharing and documentation to support team effectiveness. Case Management: Ensuring timely identification and resolution of reported issues Formulate action plans (technical and operational) for analyzing and resolving reported issues. Escalate issues as needed to ensure a timely resolution to customer reported issues. Validate customer issues in remote lab when needed. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills Ensure consistent customer satisfaction Ready to work in Differential work schedule. The role may require regular weekend work or standby shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, or both.

Required Qualifications

The passion and ability to learn new things, while never being satisfied with the status quo. Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience  2 + years of experience in enterprise networking and/or WLAN environments. Working knowledge of HPE Aruba WLAN technologies, including HPE Aruba APs, controllers/gateways, and Aruba Central. Understanding of IEEE 802.11 fundamentals, RF concepts, and wireless security principles (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X). Exposure to wireless troubleshooting tools, packet captures, and spectrum analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow structured troubleshooting approaches. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in written and verbal form.
