What You Will Do • Drive continuous improvement, cost-saving and process-excellence initiatives, including first-pass yield improvements and Cost of Poor Quality reduction, using RTX CORE principles. • Manage the acquisition, delivery and commissioning of capital equipment, turnkey solutions, fixtures and tooling while identifying opportunities for process mechanisation. • Develop, evaluate and implement manufacturing processes and product lines, including optimising processes such as peening, acid cleaning, polishing and media finishing. • Support First Article Inspection activities, manage Maintenance Review Board reviews, and apply data-driven root-cause analysis to resolve equipment, process and non-conformance issues. • Create and maintain bills of materials, routings and work instructions while providing technical support to functional teams in meeting production and business objectives.
Qualifications
You Must Have • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent discipline. • Up to three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, production or aerospace component environment. • Strong organisational, planning and project-management capabilities. • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Ability to perform effectively under pressure as both an independent contributor and team member.
Qualifications
We Prefer • Proficiency in data analysis and engineering problem-solving tools. • Knowledge of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and First Article Inspection. • Basic programming knowledge, including Python or similar languages.
