EDI Assistant

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a EDI Assistant. Av. Chapultepec, Parque Colonial, Reynosa, Tamps. Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company.  We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027.  The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices.  If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. What you’ll do: 
 PRIMARY FUNCTION: This is a dynamic learning position that is responsible for EDI order mapping and maintenance to ensure order flow and EDI outputs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  A. Responsible for IDOC management which includes but is not limited to failed, new and cumulative. B. Run ZDELFOR report to be able to pinpoint any error codes. C. Find any cumulative issues and process ZMAK orders to meet the current demand. D. Search and upload any cross-reference errors and upload them to a shared database. E. Coordinate with the customer service team in order to maintain the part number tables to fix any ZEDICHECK errors and in turn minimize the amount of incoming IDOCS failing due to the same error. F. Run and maintain a ZDELORD report to be able to create outgoing deliveries per customer and a VA05 report which includes any ZEDICHECK item caught by the system which will be kept on standby until the part number is changed to meet the customer’s criteria. G. Re-process any IDOC which has already had the error code worked on either by the EDI administrator or customer representative and improve team effectiveness by assisting in any inquiries regarding EDI and its processes to maximize customer representative response time and help build rapport with our customers. H. Develop, lead, and promote a culture in the organization that supports the expected results in the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental system (MESH).  I. Maintain waste segregation culture. J. Separate hazardous waste from the normal trash     K. Place waste according to the assigned containers.    L. Maintain your area clean and free of contaminants.     M. Not waste of water or electricity.      N. Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment.     O. Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products, which can contaminate the environment.    P. Act/Report immediately any chemical discharge case.     Q. Ensure the rights containers for disposition of hazardous waste (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)   #LI-KL1 Qualifications: 
 Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role. Bachelor's Degree completed or currently in progress. Intermediate level of English proficiency (written and verbal). Technical Skills Experience with SAP administration , including system upgrades, maintenance, and installations. Knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP tools and system management. Strong Microsoft Excel skills for business analysis and reporting. Core Competencies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
