Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical **Inspector - Electrical** to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all electrical work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with contract specifications. Working collaboratively with our engineering and construction teams, you will conduct thorough inspections, document findings, and maintain meticulous records to support successful project delivery. Read, comprehend, and interpret contract documents, detailed electrical drawings, technical specifications, and health and safety protocols, including all associated updates and amendments Conduct comprehensive inspections and observations to verify that contractors comply with contract standards, specifications, and electrical codes through measurements, testing, and quality assurance tracking Monitor and document contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis, ensuring efficient resource allocation and utilization Perform site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE), maintaining a proactive and solutions-oriented approach Document all activities within assigned areas, including contractor personnel and equipment, observed activities, work locations, activity rationale, and construction methodologies employed Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals, taking necessary actions to ensure timely resolution and compliance Coordinate daily with cross-functional teams to verify the quality and quantity of work performed, maintaining transparent communication and collaborative relationships Prepare site measurements and surveying checks as required by project leadership Apply and implement all quality control and quality assurance procedures established for the project, ensuring consistent adherence across all work activities Monitor and report on health and safety compliance, identifying and documenting any violations or non-conformances with immediate escalation to leadership Maintain organized and comprehensive records of all inspections, measurements, testing results, and observations for project documentation and future reference Qualifications Education & Certifications: Diploma in Engineering (minimum requirement) Related degree in Engineering fields (preferred for career progression to Engineer level) Required Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of electrical design requirements, methodologies, and installation processes Proficiency
