Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Hardware Support Specialist with move/add/change support and break/fix support experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Installs, relocates, reconfigures, removes, and maintains hardware, voice, and online data processing equipment. Assists with records and audits of equipment, space, and spare parts inventories. Supports the installation, additions, moves, and changes to Raised Floor and NER equipment. Provides break/fix on-site support for all equipment within a Raised Floor and NER. Grants emergency access to critical environments within a high-risk facility to vendors and other business line staffing. Basic Qualifications -High school diploma or equivalent, OR -Technical or vocational certification -At least 2 years experience with installing, relocating, and maintaining computing hardware, such as monitors, small CPU's, and printers. -At least 2 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment. Preferred Skills/Experience Basic understanding in: -IT standards, procedures, policy -Mainframe hardware -Networking/communications hardware -Mid-range hardware -Server hardware -Storage hardware Working experience in: -IT environment -Hardware infrastructure -Change control -Technical troubleshooting -H/W installation and support -Telecommunications Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
