Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Engineer Electronics – Mission Processing/Supplier Interface to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Melbourne, FL site. Must possess in-depth knowledge of computers and electronics for mission processing, displays data storage, Networks, CDS/MLS, Crypto and experience in the definition, design, integration, test, and certification of related hardware and software requirements and will be responsible for one or more of the following: Interpret, allocate, tailor, write and flow down requirements to all levels of a system architecture Design and develop computer, network and system models and architectures, define interface requirements, perform hardware integration and testing, requirements analysis and collaborate with Integrated Product Teams Conduct Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL) regarding supplier current and future products offerings Job Responsibilities: Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate mission management subsystems to meet platform mission objectives Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support Developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work Building supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection
