Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Data Management Capability Lead Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 4) to join its team. This position is in Roy UT, Bellevue NE, Huntsville AL or Manhattan Beach, CA and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do: The Data Management Capability Lead Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 4) will join the Command Systems team leading activities including requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability across the ground segment of the Sentinel Weapon System. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: Lead a small team of systems engineers to develop the model-based data architecture across various tools of the engineering value stream (architecture, design, software) for the Sentinel ground system. Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature a configuration controlled and configured data model. Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model. Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical). Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis. Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration).
