Job Description
Shift: Night Shift Premium Amount: $1.00 Pay Rate: $29.25 ROLE PURPOSE The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that our products provide a high level of quality that meets customer expectation. This position will be responsible for assessment, design, implementation, and execution of quality programs and processes that support the continuous improvement of the business and reduction of quality incidents and customer complaints. The candidate must be an effective leader who possesses a strong aptitude for data analysis and interpretation of information, technically minded, can work with little direction, and has a good understanding of quality systems and processes. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow. • Assist Management in assessing individual and team performance and development. • Develop team maturity: coach and counsel teams through accountability matrix, motivate team to achieve goals and ensure effective team communication. • Administrative: Prepare shift manning schedules to ensure proper coverage and production is achieved. Record attendance and document vacation and holiday taken. Ensure proper handling and entry of ADP timecards. Document absenteeism and communicate unfavorable trend to the supervisor. Advise management of employee issues that may require their immediate attention to Safety, Quality, Production and Personnel issues. • May recommend disciplinary action outside of Accountability Matrix. • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards. • Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, following reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. • Training: Close the gap on training. The TPL is expected to identify training gaps of individual operators and be able to utilize SPL’s (Single Point Lessons) to close these gaps. • Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. • Provide relevant information to the appropriate stakeholders related to the personnel
