Principle Duties (includes, but may not be limited to): Cut to length liner with band-saw. Pull liner into elbow housing using puller. Relax liner to housing in oven. Flare liner on elbow flaring machine(s) and cool flared elbow on cold head machine(s). Tag and mark elbow with identification and trim excess flare off with knife or punch die. Perform all in-process inspection (TQC) to specifications using appropriate measuring / test instrument (s). Perform set-ups of machinery and equipment tooling. Perform material handling functions using hand trucks and forklifts. Report production and labor on VDT and work order traveller. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Perform inventory cycle counts on items in work cell and work cell stock area and report inventory corrections. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance, any parts weighing over 50lbs requires a team lift. Operator must have basic blueprint reading skills to interpret engineering drawings and specifications necessary to perform job Operator must have basic math skills including addition / subtraction of fractions and decimal values for determining material, manufacturing and inspection requirements Operator must have ability to read measuring instruments not limited to but including: tape measure, thickness gage, micrometers and calipers. Operator must have good hand-eye coordination, grip strength and dexterity to assemble products using hand and machine tools at established production standards.
