FPGA Verification Engineer, Bespoke Solutions

The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. 10012 Key job responsibilities - Develop UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches to verify custom RTL designs and third-party IP integrations for 100G+ solutions - Create and execute verification plans including functional coverage models, assertions, and constrained-random stimulus - Collaborate with design engineers to understand specifications and identify verification requirements and corner cases - Develop bus functional models, scoreboards, and checkers for complex interface protocols - Debug simulation failures, analyze waveforms, and drive issues to root cause resolution - Support FPGA-in-the-loop and hardware validation efforts by developing test sequences and diagnostic utilities A day in the life You will work on a cross-functional team of hardware and software developers, building verification environments and running simulations to validate programmable logic and custom hardware designs. You will write SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, develop coverage-driven verification strategies, and debug failures in simulation. You will collaborate with RTL designers to review specifications, identify risks, and ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements before deployment to hardware targets. You will participate in design and verification reviews, contributing to continuous improvement of verification processes and methodologies.
