GREF is responsible for providing the following major services to The Boeing Company: Maintenance of Boeing buildings and infrastructure Project implementation, including construction services Develops engineering designs with customer requirements, building codes and applicable regulations In addition, GREF establishes delivery models for its services that result in the most efficient and economical solutions for business partners in all Business Units: Commercial Airplanes; Defense, Space and Security; Boeing Global Services; and Corporate. By leveraging economies of scale in the services it provides and aggressively pursuing opportunities to streamline and standardize, GREF has a unique opportunity to enable the Business Units' performance and leverage the power of One Boeing. Specific GREF Engineering internship opportunities include: Plant Engineer - Provide engineering support and conducts activities related to short- and long-term infrastructure planning and capital improvement construction projects and maintenance operations. Advise and work with internal and external customers to analyze, design and complete facilities construction projects and maintenance activities. Apply engineering principles and methodology to translate customer requirements into feasible options that meet expectations regarding scope, resources and cost. Plan, manage, and execute projects, which may involve external vendors, in accordance with construction documents as well as applicable regulations, standards, codes and ordinances. Some of theses positions are hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. Some of these positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. These positions must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Additionally, some positions may require the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
