Machine Operator Assistant Baxter Springs, KS

Compensation Includes

Starting Pay Rate of $17.43 - $19.99/hour - depending on experience

Available Shifts

7pm - 7am, Wednesday - Friday & every other Saturday

Overview Produce product using high-speed printing equipment in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Assist and function as back-up to Machine Operator to produce quality product at target machine speeds using safe work practices Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP); prepare all machine components for production Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork Follow designated procedures to requisition or return components & materials, inspect components & materials, install components & materials, complete pre & post production activities Assist with set-up and/or change over activities with in allotted time Participate in Preventative Maintenance Activities as assigned Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures Actively engage in safety programs Effectively communicate with team members across shifts Assist and train other team members as needed

Minimum of six months experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker Willingness to work overtime as needed
