About the Role
We are seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented compliance professional to strengthen our Compliance program through oversight of medical records operations and external audit coordination. Reporting to the Director of Compliance, the Compliance Manager will lead day-to-day medical records activities, oversee vendor and team performance, and manage external audits from intake through findings and remediation closure. This role will partner closely with Legal, Privacy, Clinical, Financial Operations, Partnerships, and other business stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are translated into practical, sustainable processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, solutions-oriented, and experienced in healthcare compliance, privacy, records management, and audit oversight.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of related professional experience in managing or coordinating external audits, regulatory reviews, or similar oversight activities AND 5+ years of related professional experience in healthcare privacy, medical records, release-of-information processes, or health information management Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health information management, compliance, or a related field Experience collaborating with business and other key stakeholders (i.e. Legal) on compliance concerns and risks Strong and concise communication skills, verbally and in writing 3+ years of demonstrated experience interpreting regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements and translating them into practical processes Preferred Qualifications While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. Master's Degree and/or Juris Doctor or equivalent advanced training in healthcare law 2+ years of experience in telehealth, privacy, and/or behavioral health compliance Experience working with third-party medical records fulfillment vendors Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, electronic health record systems, and healthcare practice management platforms Compliance, privacy, audit, or health information management certification Experience overseeing operational workflows, vendors, staff, or cross-functional projects We're serious about your well-being!
