Job Summary
Serving as the data-focused Technical Product Owner for inventory-related data assets within Comcast Advertising, defining product strategy, prioritizing backlogs, and partnering with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions. Providing subject matter expertise in advertising inventory and yield data, ensuring data models, governance, and analytics accurately support forecasting, optimization, operational reporting, and strategic business decision-making.
Job Description
Responsibilities: Facilitating discussions with business leaders to capture data analysis needs and define technical requirements Advising on data relevancy, sourcing alternatives to ensure robust analytics for stakeholder inquiries Overseeing the analysis of complex data sets to identify actionable insights with self-service analytics tools Managing the querying of disparate big data platforms, such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS Leading the integration of data from multiple sources to support comprehensive analysis efforts Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify key business drivers and validate hypotheses Supervising the development of predictive models for forecasting key business metrics like sales and demand Analyzing campaign and initiative outcomes to measure effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities Presenting analytical findings to executives using narrative-driven reports and effective data visualizations Promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making, curiosity, and collaborative team dynamics Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
