Ideal locations would be; China (Shanghai/Suzhou area) Reports to: Sr Director Global Facilities Operations Status; Full Time Role purpose To work as part of the Stanley Black & Decker Global Real Estate, FM and Workplace Transformation Organization focusing on FM and MRO transformation. This involves enabling the company to achieve greater benefits from our scale to deliver our departments vision (e.g. Operational Excellence, Industry Leading ESG, Fuel Growth, Purpose Led Wok Environments, Care for People). This should be done through partnering with the business and our support functions (HR, procurement, EHS, finance). This customer centric role will involve on-going management related to: Shaping and sustaining FM best practices to be used by sites across the region by engaging with local site leads and Single Point of Contacts (SPOC). Description: The Primary responsibilities is to drive all FM & MRO Value across a portfolio of properties in Asia Regional FM & MRO Help shape a global FM and MRO strategy that maximizes value to SBD sites Build 3 year FM strategy and regional deployment aligned with plants needs, sourcing strategy for maximum stakeholder value Partnering with business and functional stakeholders to implement strategies to optimize the FM & MRO scopes of work Support the engagement with sites and the preferred suppliers to enable solutions to be defined and a local contract agreement to be established. Sign off the Implementation Plans and lead transitions to the new suppliers including the due diligence activity Work with the FM and MRO Service Partners and sites to culture of customer focus, trust and collaboration which embraces transparency, best practice and drives continuous improvement. Undertake contracts training for site SPOCS and site teams to establish leading practice governance. Undertake knowledge transfer so sites understand how the contracts works and how to get the best out of the FM and MRO Service Partners relationship. Attend monthly Site Operation Monthly Reporting meetings and monitor follow up actions. Encourage a feedback-based approach to service improvement with clear actions. Review FM and MRO Service Partners performance to ensure service meets expectations. Support the creation of any global performance dashboard. Support sites with any service or contract escalations and engage with both parties to resolve issues. Support the FM & MRO Service Partners with compliance baselines and any issues that are identified that need to be resolved. Local FM Support Develop and execute a three-year plan to support strategic growth initiatives. Act as a trusted business partner to the site and functional stakeholders to implement FM and MRO changes that help SBD to simply, standardize and improve service management.
