Job Title: Master Scheduler Location: Conyers, GA What we’re looking for: We are looking for a Master Scheduler who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule to ensure customer demand, inventory objectives, and manufacturing capacity are aligned. This role serves as the central coordination point between Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse Operations to optimize material flow, production efficiency, and on-time delivery performance. The Master Scheduler analyzes demand forecasts, inventory levels, production capacity, and supplier constraints to create executable schedules that support operational and financial goals Maintains close collaboration with Production Planning to secure the schedules are followed, highlighting direction changes, and enforcing production deadlines. What you’ll be responsible for in this role: Production Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, forecasts, and inventory targets. Translate sales forecasts and customer orders into detailed production schedules. Balance production requirements against labor, machine, and material capacity constraints. Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans as required to meet changing business conditions. Conduct finite and infinite capacity planning analyses .
Demand & Inventory Management
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to understand customer demand trends. Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Monitor inventory health, safety stock levels, and replenishment requirements. Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate closely with Procurement to ensure material availability. Partner with Manufacturing leadership to identify bottlenecks and capacity limitations. Communicate schedule changes and priorities across departments. Support Engineering and Quality teams during product introductions or process changes.
ERP/MRP Management
Maintain accurate planning parameters within ERP/MRP systems. Review MRP recommendations and take appropriate planning actions. Ensure master data integrity including lead times, BOMs, routing information, and planning settings. Generate and analyze production planning reports .
Performance Monitoring
Track and report key scheduling and operational metrics. Analyze production performance against schedule. Identify opportunities to improve schedule stability and manufacturing
