SAP Senior SAP CPI Consultant The Opportunity We are looking for an SAP CPI Consultant to join the EY GDS – SAP TechOps Team. As part of our EY GDS – TechOps team, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and optimization of our SAP CPI solutions in alignment with our business objectives in a multi-region environment. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to address issues, implement enhancements, and optimize applications to deliver seamless global operations support to global clients. To qualify for the role, you must have:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP integration technologies, with at least 3 years focused on SAP CPI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively in a team environment Good understanding of the integration patterns, best practices. Strong knowledge in integration of SAP and Non-SAP applications with 3rd party & internal applications Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a global setting with multi-regional teams, understanding cultural nuances and time zone differences and across shifts Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management support work including ability to do shifts and being on-call for critical business requirements Responsible for decision making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution. Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has necessary tools for support to succeed in role and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
Ideally, you'll also have
Strong understanding of integration patterns, security protocols, and web services (SOAP, REST, OData). Experience with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and other SAP applications. Proficiency in Groovy and Java scripting within SAP CPI. Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and connectivity to on-premises systems. Familiarity with SAP API Management and SAP Event Mesh is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. SAP CPI certification is preferred.
What you will do
Provide day to day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests as Level 2 Application Management Specialist Provide level 2 support for SAP CPI development activities including customizations, enhancements, and bug fixes across multiple SAP environments troubleshooting and resolving issues related to customer CPI developments and SAP System Performance Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements for incidents, enhancements and problems and translate them into technical solutions Perform Debugging and Testing to ensure the quality of CPI developments Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing and production deployment of CPI objects Document technical specifications, code changes and implementation details for knowledge sharing and future reference Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging
