Industrial Electrician

Weyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for Industrial Electricians for our Idabel, Oklahoma Lumber facility. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Key Functions: - Performs highly skilled electrical maintenance tasks including installation and repair of electrical machinery and instrumentation of controls throughout the plant. - Installation of electrical equipment, motors, starters, variable frequency drives and PLCs in accordance with applicable electrical codes. - Repair of electrical tools and equipment including power tools and test equipment. - Performs preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting on AC and DC motors, drives, and control systems. PM as required on other electro-mechanical components (brakes, clutches, solenoids, etc.). - Calibrate instruments, sensors, chart recorders, etc. - Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software associated with all distributed discrete microprocessor-based systems within the plant. - Follow and adhere to safety lockout procedures and strictly adhere to plant safety rules as well as follow excellent housekeeping practices to help maintain a clean work environment.
