Mechanical Engineer

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a mechanical engineer for FBM Fire Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Designing, Testing, Implementing, Building, and Installing Fire Control Tactical, Trainer, and Test equipment.

Proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings Strong knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards Creative thinker capable of leading a team in the preparation of project design, testing, and prototype fabrication Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
