Overview Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join their team in Bangalore, India. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organizations.  A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Sr. Engineering Manager to deliver Engineering statements of work to meet the organizational goals.

Responsibilities: Manages, develops, and motivates a team of electrical engineers to deliver engineering solutions in the electrical systems and wiring design and installation lifecycle. Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and direct reports Performs project planning for multiple projects, develop and administer budgets, schedules and performance standards Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team.  Capable of effectively prioritizing and de-escalating issues with impacted parties Analyzes hiring results, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and performance Develops and performs project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Leads projects or initiatives in the direction of the engineering organization to implement process / product improvements Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way Manages a group of roughly 18-25 direct reports Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
