The Director level Prime Services Account Manager is responsible for driving a seamless client experience across the Prime Services platform from initial opportunity through implementation, go-live, and transition to ongoing support teams. Acting as a strategic leader and client advocate, the role partners across Sales, Onboarding, Account Management, Operations, Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure successful execution of complex client initiatives. The Director identifies and mitigates execution risks, enhances governance, and drives continuous improvement across the client lifecycle. This position requires deep Prime Services expertise, strong organizational influence, and the ability to deliver results across multiple stakeholders without direct management responsibility. The successful candidate will combine commercial awareness with a disciplined risk and control mindset to improve client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner across the client lifecycle, from opportunity identification through implementation and production launch. Drive a consistent and high-quality client experience across Prime Services products and services. Partner with Sales teams to evaluate client requirements, implementation complexity, and execution readiness. Coordinate activities across Onboarding, Account Management, Operations, Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions. Act as a central point of coordination for complex and strategically important client initiatives. Identify and address gaps, obstacles, and inefficiencies that may impact client outcomes. Ensure appropriate governance, accountability, and transparency throughout the implementation process. Escalate and help resolve issues impacting client delivery, timelines, or operational readiness. Champion client needs while balancing commercial objectives, operational capabilities, and risk considerations. Drive enhancements to client onboarding, implementation, and servicing processes. Monitor implementation performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability. Apply a strong risk and control discipline to client lifecycle activities and change initiatives. Partner with control functions to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Lead post-implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the franchise. Serve as a subject matter expert on Prime Services client experience, implementation governance, and best practices.
Qualifications
20+ years of Prime Services and related markets. Deep understanding of Prime Services products, institutional client workflows, and operating models. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority. Strong risk, control, governance, and process improvement mindset. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
