Job Overview
TE Connectivity is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Cost Driver & Project Manager to lead and deliver cost reduction initiatives across our the region you’re hired in. This role will identify, prioritize, and execute cross-functional cost optimization opportunities while driving measurable bottom-line impact. You will partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality and Supply Chain teams to systematically reduce product and operational costs without compromising quality, delivery, or innovation. Key Responsibilities Cost Reduction Strategy & Execution
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize cost-down opportunities across products, materials, logistics, and processes Lead structured cost reduction projects from ideation through implementation and tracking Drive Value Engineering (VE) and Design-to-Cost (DtC) initiatives Develop and execute cost roadmaps aligned with business targets Supply Resiliency projects that reduce escalations and improve operational efficiency

Project & Program Management
Manage multiple cost optimization projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and savings targets are achieved Comply with project governance, milestones, and reporting cadence Use data-driven methods to track cost savings and ROI Establish structured tracking mechanisms for all cost optimization initiatives Deliver regular updates (weekly/monthly) to management with clear insights and status
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate closely with
Procurement (supplier negotiations, resourcing) Engineering (design changes, material alternatives) Manufacturing (process improvements, automation) Finance (validation of savings, forecasting impacts) Supplier Quality Engineering (quality and standards requirements) Supply Chain (alignment, supplier communications, ERP updates) Customer (alignment, change management)
Facilitate workshops or alignment meetings to drive consensus and progress Act as the central coordinator to ensure smooth communication and execution Influence stakeholders without direct authority to drive alignment and execution
