Job Description

Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Risk Quality Specialist (Sales) to join our team!  Reporting to the Manager, Risk Quality, you will be responsible for independently auditing new business transactions for new and tenured agents, to assess adherence to regulatory, risk, and quality standards. The role supports the identification of conduct risk, process gaps, and control weaknesses, and provides clear, actionable insights to leaders and front-line teams to strengthen performance, governance, and customer outcomes. The role will initially be assigned to provide auditing and coaching to new agents.  Working closely with operational leaders, risk partners, and frontline teams, the Risk Quality Specialist promotes a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement through objective audits, data-driven insights, and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Designation : Remote (Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec)        Accountabilities:      Conduct independent quality audits of   new business   transaction s , support activities, and operational processes   and a pply standardized audit methodologies and evaluation criteria to ensure consistent, fair, and defensible assessments.   Assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and established quality standards.   This includes   the r eview   of   documentation   and   policy   records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to procedural requirements.   Identify   conduct risks   and areas of non-compliance   and   e scalate significant findings, emerging risks, and compliance concerns   in accordance with   established governance processes.   Provide clear,   objective , and evidence-based feedback to   front-line   teams   and leaders   regarding   audit outcomes.   Support coaching and development initiatives by   identifying   performance improvement opportunities , p romoting   understanding of quality   expectations   and   compliance requirements.   Maintain   accurate   audit documentation to support traceability, governance, and reporting requirements.   Deliver actionable insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives   and s upport the implementation of process improvements and quality enhancement initiatives.   Partner with operational teams, compliance, risk management, and business stakeholders to enhance quality and risk awareness.   Contribute to the development and refinement of audit tools, evaluation frameworks, and quality standards   and   p articipate   in calibration sessions to ensure consistency and alignment across quality reviews.     Qualifications :    Results & Execution:   Demonstrated   experience in quality assurance, auditing, compliance, or risk oversight within insurance operations, with the ability to deliver consistent, defensible audit outcomes.   Judgment & Integrity:   Proven ability to independently audit   new business policies   and customer files using standardized criteria, exercising sound judgment, objectivity, and confidentiality.   Analytical Thinking:   Strong analytical capability to   identify   trends, control gaps, and emerging risks, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.   Coaching & Development:   Experience delivering constructive, evidence-based feedback to agents and managers to support performance improvement, remediation, and risk mitigation.
