Job Description
AbbVie is seeking a Brand Manager within Migraine to join our Scandinavian team in a collaborative and commercially impactful role. In your future position, you work closely with another Brand Manager to drive the brand planning process, support brand team meetings, and translate global strategy into strong local execution. The role sits at the center of a complex, high-performing migraine portfolio across three markets, each with different market access dynamics. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys working across functions, partnering with global and local stakeholders, and turning insight into action. You will work closely with global, sales, access, medical, and external agencies to shape and deliver marketing strategies, develop materials, and ensure execution is aligned, compliant, and effective.
What you will do
Translate Global Brand Strategies into local brand strategies that reflect country-specific market conditions, competitive dynamics, and stakeholder needs. Co-drive the strategic brand planning process in a timely manner, gathering critical insights from designated markets and cross-functional team members to secure a robust, insight-driven plan. Ensure broad input and inclusion of all relevant stakeholder perspectives to build an accurate Patient Journey and propose strategic brand objectives based on Patient Journey findings to adjust local strategies and ensure strong patient centricity. Synthesize insights to define target segments and optimize brand positioning. Implement MCM (Multi Channel Marketing) and CEF (Customer Experience Flow): effectively manage and execute agreed marketing activities. Ensure all functional deliverables are consistent with the brand identity and convey emotionally engaging messages aligned with the Global Brand Story. Use an appropriate mix of digital and traditional channels to maximize AbbVie’s customer interaction opportunities. Drive monitoring of brand KPIs and track ROI for all marketing activities to achieve or exceed Brand Plan objectives. Continuously update team members cross-functionally regarding strategy or marketing initiatives or updates and ensure to share best practices. Accountable for promotional materials, ensuring consistently high quality, full compliance with internal and external requirements, and timely, proactive updates. Additional scope of the role: Co-own the brand planning process and brand team meetings together with the other Brand Manager. Work closely with global teams to align local execution with global strategy. Collaborate across sales, access, medical, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution. Work with external agencies to brief, negotiate, and produce marketing material. Support the development and production of local marketing assets. Help navigate the complexity of three countries with three different market access strategies. Contribute to managing the brand as an important part of AbbVie’s larger business unit in Scandinavia.
