Job Description
Summary Under limited supervision and in partnership with Internal Banking Consultants (IBCs), Banking Consultants (BCs), Financial Advisors, branch leadership, and internal lending partners, the Senior SBL Solutions Advisor provides advanced sales-aligned advisory support for complex Securities Based Lines of Credit (SBL) opportunities. This role uses advanced knowledge of SBL products, loan structure, collateral, borrower and pledgor relationships, business and trust documentation, transition-related lending needs, international client lending considerations, non-profit entities, tailored lending, and escalation management to help Financial Advisors and sales partners structure, prioritize, and advance complex SBL opportunities. The Senior SBL Solutions Advisor serves as an escalation resource for complex or high-impact SBL scenarios, supports strategic sales initiatives, helps coach SBL Solutions Advisors and IBC partners, and provides feedback to Sales leadership, Product, Operations, Underwriting, and other partner teams. This role may provide targeted pipeline intervention for complex or stalled SBL opportunities when the delay requires advisory expertise, loan structure guidance, partner coordination, or escalation strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides advanced consultation and sales support to Financial Advisors, IBCs, Sr. IBCs, Banking Consultants, and branch leadership regarding complex Securities Based Lines of Credit opportunities and loan structures. Proactively assists sales partners and Financial Advisors with positioning SBL solutions for complex client situations, including international client lending considerations, non-profit entities, business/entity borrowers, trust structures, tailored lending opportunities, repaper scenarios, and non-standard collateral or borrower arrangements. Responsible for leading complex transitioning loan scenarios and serves as main point of contact for the Transitions Consulting team. Interprets complex borrower, collateral, business, entity, trust, account ownership, and documentation information to help determine appropriate loan structure and prepare opportunities for submission, escalation, or partner review. Provides deal-specific education to branches and sales partners on complex loan structure, application requirements, paperwork expectations, documentation strategy, collateral considerations, and common risk or compliance matters. Partners with Underwriting, Operations, Product, New Accounts, Customer Accounts, Account Transfers, Collateral Monitoring, Legal, Compliance, IBCs, Sr. IBCs, and Banking Consultants to communicate and resolve structure-related issues, clarify escalation paths, and support timely advancement of appropriate SBL opportunities. Provides targeted pipeline intervention for complex SBL deals that are delayed due to loan structure, collateral issues, documentation strategy, transition complexity, exception needs, credit/risk clarification, or unclear partner ownership. Partners with IBCs and Sr. IBCs to prioritize complex or high-impact SBL opportunities when needed to strengthen Financial Advisor relationships and align with broader Sales priorities. Serves as an escalation point for SBL Solutions Advisors, IBCs, and branch partners on complex structure questions, advisor/client concerns, and high-impact lending scenarios. Develops and maintains strong relationships with IBCs, Sr. IBCs, Banking Consultants, divisional leadership, transition leadership, Underwriting, Operations, Product, and other internal partners. Supports the development of SBL sales best practices, branch education, advisor-facing talking points, process feedback, and sales enablement materials. Identifies recurring process gaps, training needs, structure-related delays, and advisor pain points; recommends improvements to policies, procedures, workflows, or sales support routines.
