Job Description
In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you’ll do: Leads the project team for design and development of complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration for building efficient, scalable and robust cloud subsystems. Reviews and evaluates designs, test plans, and develops code for compliance with cloud design and development guidelines and standards. Provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks. Represents the engineering team in various technical forums and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members. Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization. Analyzes science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline. Typically, 7-10 years’ experience. What you need to bring: Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript. Understanding microservice architecture and how they can be built in a containerized, Kubernetes-managed environment is central to all modern cloud-native applications. Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into the overall architecture. Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals at senior management levels. Must have : Hands on VMware knowledge Hands on programming with python, Golang and ansible, shell programming Knowledge of KVM and ability to debug issues related to KVM nodes. Knowledge of Kubernetes and security practices in k3s. Knowledge of SLES, Ubuntu Operating system Ability to debug issues in customer calls Knowledge of VMware NSX networking and hands on deploying NSX in customer fields. Ability to handle Customer Incidents Understanding of Morpheus constructs such as Groups, Tenants, Roles Understanding and Design of Multitenancy in Morpheus Full understanding of Private Cloud solutions. Understanding of Aruba Switches related to VLAN, VRF, ACLs. Ability to design and implement a feature end to end. Understanding of Terraform and Certificate Management.
