Job Overview
The PMO – IT Specialist role is to support governance, coordination, and execution of All the business unit projects related to electrical systems, industrial automation, and IT infrastructure. This role operates as a professional individual contributor, applying technical expertise and structured project management practices to ensure compliance with TE Connectivity’s stage-gate governance, financial controls, and operational excellence standards. The position contributes to the successful delivery of project governance through system improvements ensuring transparency, risk control, and documentation discipline. KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
• Continuous Improvement through automation & AI • Develop PMO tools and templates standardization and automation plan o Cross examines current processes and their use o Propose short / mid / and long-term system improvements through Automation and system control AI in business and project management • Support Lean Excellence initiatives • Delivery to internal business unit needs taking into consideration corporate requirements 2. Cross-Functional Coordination • Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Quality, Procurement, Operations and IT departments • Seek system and processes improvements globally and cross – functionally 3. Project Governance & PMO Officer • Support implementation of TE’s project governance framework in Planisware (stage-gate, documentation standards, financial controls) • Ensure projects meet defined milestones, budget constraints, and quality requirements • Lead Governance meetings for projects review & Approvals DESIRED SKILLS:
Master’s degree in: Information Technology & / or Engineering degree • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Information Technology & Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related discipline • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment • Passionate about AI and digital initiatives impacting the organization • Knowledge of industrial business environment and IT infrastructure • Fluency in English What your background should look like
