Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA are currently searching for a Sr Analyst, Security to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This Sr Analyst, Security will perform as a Team Lead on our Clearance Administration Team. They will be responsible for processing and maintaining Personnel Security Clearances (PCL) in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government agency directives, for Collins Aerospace employees supporting government contracts. ** This is an onsite position in Cedar Rapids, IA. ** What YOU will do: Coordinating, initiating, and maintaining personnel security clearances in DISS, NBIS, eQIP, and SIMS. Collecting fingerprints and uploading them into the government database. Verifying clearance and briefing status for requests to access secure workspaces. Process incoming and outgoing domestic and foreign visit requests. Submit Adverse Information Reports to the government. Tracking and Reporting Foreign Travel of cleared employees. Facilitate classified meetings. Coordinate initial and annual Security training, Insider Threat Briefings, special briefings, and other annual training as necessary. Provide professional support and proactive customer service to coworkers, internal customers, and external customers daily. Operate in accordance with corporate policies and practices. Comply with accepted business ethics.
Qualifications
YOU Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
