TE Connectivity's Digital Data Network (DDN) Business Unit is looking for a Technical Sales / Field Application Engineer to support strategic customers in AI, High-Performance Computing, Data Center, and Networking markets. As the technical interface between TE Connectivity and our customers, you will provide application support, drive design-in opportunities, and help customers identify the best solutions for their current and future platforms. You will work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to support business growth and ensure customer success. This role requires a proactive and technically strong individual who can navigate complex customer environments, understand emerging technology roadmaps, and translate customer needs into winning solutions. Job Requirements

Act as the primary technical contact for strategic customers in Israel. Support design-in activities, product evaluations, and technical problem-solving. Develop a deep understanding of customer architectures, roadmaps, and future requirements, particularly in AI and compute infrastructure. Identify and drive new business opportunities through technical engagement and solution-based selling. Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to deliver standard, customized, or new product solutions. Advocate customer requirements within TE and support customization projects when needed. Build strong relationships with customer engineering and program management teams. Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring timely follow-up and execution.

What your background should look like

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-6 years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role. Experience with connectivity solutions, electronics, data communications, or networking technologies. Understanding of AI, HPC, networking, or data center architectures is highly desirable. Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Ability to understand complex technical situations and translate them into clear action plans. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills in Hebrew and English.
