About this role

Overview

The world’s attention is on AI, and behind every breakthrough is physical infrastructure being built at a scale and speed the industry has never seen. Microsoft’s Cloud and AI Communications team is looking for a Senior Communications Manager to help tell that story: how we build datacenters, power them responsibly, and earn trust in the communities and markets that host them. This is a high-visibility role at the center of one of the most scrutinized, fast-moving topics in technology. You’ll shape narratives across a high-priority portfolio; AI infrastructure, capacity expansion, energy and water sustainability, and external impact, and translate complex technical and business topics into clear, credible, and compelling stories. You’ll drive both proactive storytelling and reactive issues management, partnering closely across engineering, marketing, regional communications, corporate, external and legal affairs, and agency teams. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong judgment, and brings the ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining high-quality execution.   Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.       In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.
