Material Handler - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 1st Shift.  The hourly rate for this position is $22.50 per hour. The hours for this shift are 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.      Why work at Eaton? It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours.   In this function, you will: •    Interface with other departments in regard to material flow. •    Operate Forklift to sustain flow of materials for the department. •    Perform a variety of repetitive sub and final assembly operations on various standard product lines. •    Perform work from specifications, and/or communicated instructions. •    Follow established working procedures. •    Be responsible for own work under minimal supervision and instructions. •    Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards. •    Keep work area clean and orderly. •    Contribute suggestions for methods or product improvement. •    Use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job. •    Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions. •    Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork. Qualifications: 
 Required (Basic) Qualifications: •    Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. •    Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.  •    Must be able to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation. •    Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. •    Must be able to obtain forklift certification. •    Ability to work overtime when required.
